Umbrellas with wheels could be the next best thing
May 25, 2016
We love hearing about new ideas to help people out with their umbrellas, because no matter what fancy design there is, everyone still enjoys a conventional umbrella like we have at Jolly Brolly.
In Japan, home of wacky inventions, a company Bibi Lab have premiered their latest design – a rolling umbrella.
As the name suggests, the umbrella is designed to be rolled along by your side, like a suitcase, which looks like a fun compared to it swinging awkwardly in your hand, dripping over your shoes. The wheels also provide more safety, as the wheels replace the point at the top of the umbrella.
The two wheels are made of polyurethane, which mean the rolling is quite and smooth. And inside the umbrella, the steel components have been replaced with polypropylene, making it light to carry even with the two wheels on top and it is just as durable.
Already on sale, it will be interesting to see if the wheeled umbrella will take off rolling, but in the meantime, check out Jolly Umbrellas for some bright and colourful red umbrellas, kid’s umbrellas and more!
