Watch Novak Djokovic borrow a fan’s umbrella for a rainy court tour

Whilst so much of the UK were enjoying a glorious Bank Holiday weekend, the same could not be said for France and the French Open tennis, which is currently experiencing a bit of a wash out.

However, that didn’t stop world number one Novak Djokovic from taking a rainy stroll around the court and pulling off a few little skips whilst greeting some fans.

But did he brave the rainy conditions alone? Oh no, he cheekily helped himself to a ladies’ umbrella, leaving her to face the elements without protection!

She took it in good spirit of course, and watched on as Novak hopped around the court, talking to a few officials and fans on his way.

The rain has really been a hindrance this year, and not a single match was played yesterday due to the weather, which was the first time a whole day has been stopped due to bad weather at the French Open since 2000.

Djokovic will now have to wait until tomorrow to see if the weather clears up and if he can resume his match against Roberto Bautista Agut.

Andy Murray will also have to do the same, as his quarter-final match up against Richard Gasquet has also been postponed until Wednesday.
